Well I can’t speak for all the parties, but it follows that if both the Conservatives and the Liberals regularly lie to the public and pursue neoliberal policy that’s trying to kill us all, that maybe we should try voting for literally anyone else.
The Greens, and to a lesser extent, the NDP have never had the opportunity to demonstrate the flagrant duplicity of the Liberals because they’ve never held power. In fact, I’d argue that the Liberal/Conservative hold on power has a great deal to do with the public’s intolerance for truth tellers in politics. I’d also eager that the PPC are likely quite honest… they’re just also deplorable.
My experience with the BQ is limited by my abysmal French skills, but it seems to me that they’ve routinely campaigned on a largely separatist, francophone, socialist platform and have delivered on those promises.
I mean, the Liberals have delivered on their promise of a government some degree to the left of the conservatives, too, and if I didn’t speak the language I couldn’t point out the specific promises they didn’t fulfill, either.
It’s the Liberal Party. It’s what they do.
Which is the honest party, lol?

The NDP does, the Greens do. Presumably, the Bloc does in French.
It’s actually just impossible to get elected otherwise. Nobody wants to hear boring details or inconvenient truths.
