That’s correct. There’s a part at the beginning of the link and end of the link. If you’re on a phone/Chrome, Google makes it tough for you to recognize you’re using an amp link. The point of the amp link is that users of it never actually visit the site that produced the content, they stay within Google servers, so Google profits off of visitors’ traffic and data, and the content creators don’t see any of it
