Hello everyone!
I recently asked in the Piñones Discord what type of puzzle people would like to see on Sundays. There was a desire for a more difficult puzzle, but a split over whether the difficulty increase would come from harder words, or from a larger puzzle.
I chose today to make a puzzle with harder words in the grid, so if this one takes a little longer than usual don’t be discouraged! I might try a larger puzzle next weekend depending on how this one goes!
Best of luck!
Instructions (best on desktop):
-
Solve the grid using the clues provided. The direction of the word is indicated by the number around the grid (so some words are backwards).
-
After you complete the grid, click the pencil icon tab at the bottom to switch over to solve the anagram. The title is a hint to the anagram!
1:17 but I accidentally closed the puzzle after I figured it out(but hadn’t filled it all in) and had to redo it already knowing the answers. I think it would have been closer to 4 or 5 minutes otherwise.
This one was tricky because I didn’t know either of the acronyms, but luckily I was able to fill out most of the crossword, and then figured out my missing letter by looking at the anagram.
I think a bigger puzzle might be fun to try too!
Edit: I’d be interested in joining the discord if that’s an option!
Glad to hear you managed to get through it!
And absolutely! It’s not terribly active, but I’m slowly starting to post more and more in there so I’d be happy to have you. I’ll DM a link!
