American brands are trying to trick consumers into thinking they aren’t buying American brands. Backlash isn’t about a trade war. It could go away and it still wouldn’t change that the US is a fascist country sending people to El Salvador without due process and even arresting their mayor while threatening annexation of other countries due to inability to comprehend the concept of consent.
