Honestly this should start a rush to declare anything over 80 years old in the city a historic landmark. Sure, on the one hand we need to add density to the city, but by no means should it come at the expense of our history.
I really hope that we can maybe start working on how to establish projects that reincorporate the old into new, like ones where the inside of a building is gutted, but the exterior is built into the new development.
