Same for me. If you are interested in ease of use, instagram and x do the job AFAIK. But if you are interested in a resilient decentralized platform (and the future of humanity in a non dystopian world), bluesky is not one (although it pretends to be). So for me its mastodon and pixelfed all the way.
FYI bridging with Mastodon doesn’t require a Mastodon account on your end, it will make your account accessible to be followed by Mastodon users, and even recieve replies from Mastodon users if they also bridged their accounts.
