A question arose. A thought after all this was ‘done’. Had there ever been a worse moment in the history of this world? The [Palace of Fates] breaking. Worlds consigned to oblivion in moments. Had there truly ever been more destruction, more heartbreak? Even if no one had been there to hear the cries of […]
It seems to be a very controversial arc, pretty polarizing.
Personally I am not generally a fan on multiverse/alternate timeline plots so It wasn’t my favourite.
It was also incredibly long, and I got worn out reading it without much interludes or breaks visiting other characters.
Although I like finding out about more of the lore and lots of questions being answered, your right that it does feel a little cheap. Too much was answered too quickly I think and most of it was a little underwhelming. The goblin Kings secret, the man on the moon, palace of fates, mother of graves, etc.
Don’t get me wrong I think the writing was fantastic, and I applaud Pirateaba for the hard work they put in. It just definitely was not my favourite subject or way to find out about all the secrets being revealed.
The entire arc was pretty tough for me to read as well, as it seemed to me like it was like 50% combat scenes which got a little boring. I like a good combat scene and pirate is very good at making you feel like a part of it, but it got a little tiring with the extent of how much there was.
