She is American Chinese. It’s difficult to date in California and not go for Chinese women if you are working in tech. Palo Alto is majorly Chinese. Indians are the other major ethnic group but they don’t usually date outside. My point is him being married to Chinese is not indicative of his preference for China over USA.
