We are still trapped in 2016 and doomed to have this eternal debate over whether to punch up at politicians or down at voters, whether campaigns have a responsibility to represent the wishes of their constituents or whether the constituents have a responsibility to drop all red lines and moral convictions and fall in line behind the lesser evil.
