    Doesn’t understand how to represent and organize working class people. Proposes neoliberal policies that are nicer than LPC’s but still aren’t comprehensive, and are … neoliberal. We need a leadership that talks about grand public investment, crown corporations, busting monopolies and oligopolies, pensions, massive unionization, etc. The ironic thing is that Carney is incorporating some of this in his campaign rhetoric. “We’re going to create not thousands of jobs, but hundreds of thousands of careers in the trades. If you like building, get into it, we’ll have a career for you.” Not an exact quote but he’s said some very close things. The NDP has to own the full spectrum of working class issues and talk about class issues in general. Teach people about it if they have to. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jagmeet doesn’t know much about what created his party and why Tommy Douglas was so successful.
