Hi all!

I’ve been thinking lately of following more Lemmy.ca communities where possible in order to help foster growth and community with Canadian fediverse users. I used to have a lemmy.ca account, but have since swapped to PieFed’s software and have been finding it to be a much better match for me and my personal usecase.

I was just curious if there was a cooking community hosted on the Lemmy.ca instance. In going to the site myself and doing a quick search on the communities page, I was unable to find such a community. If there is one, I was hoping to be pointed in the right direction, as I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance, and Elbows up!

How do you find it for day to day usage? We’re exploring having that be an option, but have also heard that it “isn’t quite ready yet”

I don’t think so, although someone did set up [email protected] here. So far I’ve been using [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and similar communities

      Thanks!

Piefed is great honestly, though it does have it’s bugs. The developer has been very hard at work fixing bugs however, and I’ve been finding the bugs I come across to be easy to report and work around. They host their code on Codeberg, which is a big reason as to why I made the swap, and their repo and issue tracker can be found on the site here: https://codeberg.org/rimu/pyfedi

Also feel free to take what I say with a grain of salt, as I’ve been using it less in recent months. Nothing against it, just life being busy and all.
