Okay so a friend convinced me to donate blood so I went there today and all of my vitals were fine but I had to fill out a form and while I was doing that I started seeing weird shapes and then everything went black.

It turns out that my blood pressure randomly dropped right before donating blood and made me unconcious so no blood donating today.

The last time I fell unconcious was years ago. Why is my body like this.

Me too. It’s the parasympathetic nervous system. You anticipate bleeding. Your body goes, “Bleeding is bad. Drop the blood pressure, that’ll stop the bleeding!” It worked! I see a needle in a medical setting, I’m out like a light. Dentists are fun.

No kidding. I always got like an “empty” or"draining" feeling before giving blood despite not being afraid of needles. I bet it’s the same phenomenon. Til.
