That Acen cd was cool for testing subs out back in the 90s before I got into pro-audio. Back in the 90s when I was still a broke-ass dj wannabe I had the balls to call a local label rep. Can’t remember what I said but he was cool enough to send me some cd’s for a few months, and this Acen was one of them. When everyone was freaking about about how great Daft Punk was with samples on their Homework album, I was all like “Hello? Utah Saints anyone? Paul’s Boutique?” I loved all of it, but I felt like I was the only person who’d heard of any of it.
