Every time I see this statement, my first reaction is to feel solidarity, “yeah!” Then I think about all those emails I don’t read and never respond to… 😅
Yeah I stopped checking my work emails entirely. At first I tried setting up filters so I could know which ones to ignore them I realized the answer was “literally all of them” so I don’t bother anymore

Right, I barely read emails let alone reply to them

I respond to most emails that clearly define a problem and clearly define what I must do.
If the email is missing one of those, I’ll reach out via slack and ask.
If the email is missing both, I have a form reply asking them to create a ticket.
What i’d give for people to make well defined jira tickets on their own.
