    I seriously don’t get the hatred for people for literally no reason…like it just makes zero sense other then to stirrup shit and try to make certain people angry so you can kill the ones who might not agree with ever bullshit weird think they make up

    Is this just a comply or die scenario they always do?

      That’s exactly why this is one of the groups that is chosen for scapegoating. It’s small, “other”, vulnerable, and harmless.

      Some people truly believe any deviant behavior is dangerous, specially to children. So they try to convince others if that danger, in an effort to rally troops and support for change.

      Also, sexual fredom for gays, might encourage their women to want sexual fredome as well, and that’s bad!

      This hatred has been carefully cultivated for decades of casual homophobia, transphobia and other assorted bigotry. I was dumb like that in my teenage years, too - and there was a lot more cultural (if you can call it that) osmosis with russia, back then. It took me realising my own bisexuality to get away from that hatred.

      For your average russian, this is just normal. They don’t really see anything wrong with that, because they don’t know any alternatives.
