I’ve been “on call” for over a decade.
If I go anywhere more than walking distance I take a laptop.
yeah it’s shitty, but other than the CEO I’ll be the last person to lose my job.
I’d rather hook into Wi-Fi/hotspot and work without making my whole family leave or be stranded somewhere just because I got a call.
