“The increasing number of graham crackers and chocolate bars in orbit has created a growing risk of Kessler s’mores.”
Sure looks like a Dragon2 eh…
Only tangentially related to SpaceX. Just found it uncanny that comic versions of reentry capsules look like Dragon2s now.
Do you mean to say “re-entry capsules like the Dragon look like the Apollo capsule?”
I don’t see anything distinctive that makes it look like the Dragon. No round top covering the docking port, no thrusters at the base.
That could be any American re-entry capsule since the apollo era, including the Boeing Starliner.
But it looks distinctly not like SpaceX Dragon 2.
@troyunrau That specific art is modeled on the Apollo Command Module, aside from changing to oval windows that resemble Dragon 2.
Orion has four windows with the door off on the side compared to them.
Starliner also has the door off to the side, with two windows next to each other.
Dragon 2 has a distinctive change in slope just below the door which isn’t present on Apollo/Orion/Starliner, because the other designs all opted for separate launch escape systems instead of integrating them with the capsule.
