I’d also recommend wrapping the lid with elastic bands, it’ll help you get a better grip on the lid🤗
I think they need to start with getting fingers.
We keep a square of rug gripper pad in the kitchen for just such occasions.
A rubber dishwashing glove lets me twist stuck jars open almost every time. It’s rare, but if that doesn’t work by itself, I’ll pop the seal with a butter knife first.
