Rich people who clear out the thrift stores at Christmas are so selfish and out of touch. I like the idea of gifts like this but not at the expense of people who need it. She can regift the tons of she she already has or god forbid make something. A bunch of rich women being all Marie Antoinette and playing poor. Maybe they should have done a small business gift buy because so many small businesses were decimated because of the strike this year.

This is a reality for a lot of people and yet here she is making it into a game. She has a shit load of unused free things she can give away and most importantly can afford to buy the people in her life what they want. Fuck off bird shit. This is all for show!

Ugh make me sick. I live in a large city and have thrift stores big and small, and she is really not the typical clientele that frequents these stores. Ask the person beside you if they also just arrived back from a cruise. She must look so sorely out of place it makes me ache. Also of course she couldn’t shop a local thrift store and chooses the for-profit conglomerate

I actually don’t mind the thrifting as I often hear that thrift stores have more than enough goods and a lot of it ends up being thrown out anyway but she definitely should be supporting smaller stores. We have several in my city that are operated by charities, for example.

Yes! I mean please, go support a local business in your city and shout them out on your platform!! Also I didn’t think of it like that re: goods being thrown away, good point! At least she’s moving discarded items to her home instead of it becoming trash 😂
