Is anyone still watching The Witcher? They’re still making it, right? But without Henry Cavill or any respect for the source material?
It just struck me that everyone stopped talking about it overnight. They must have been taking notes from the Game of Thrones directors in how to most efficiently extinguish your cultural beacon.
No he was only on seasons 1-3 IIRC. Luke Hemsworth took over for season 4, but viewership plummeted after season 2 so Netflix threw Luke under the bus to try and drum up support for Cavil’s last season.

Yeah, as soon as Cavil’s departure became known, viewership tanked. So much so that Netflix threw that other Hemsworth under the bus:
