[Edit] Solved. I needed to include both “Undetermined” and “English” in the language settings. Having done that, I can now see full displays of the comments.

Hello. I’ve included a screenshot of the list of “New” posts within the Main community. If you look, you’ll see that the posts are dated as such:

  • 2 years ago (though it’s hidden by the XFCE lower menu)

I know there’s a post I created a few days ago which is absent from this list. I’m just wondering what’s going on.

Here’s another quick photo from today (2023-07-17), supposedly displaying all the post of the past week. Clearly there were more. I can see more when I log out and just browse the group, but when I log in many posts are not displayed.

Maybe try clearing your cache? Does it work if you login on another browser or app?

I’ve tried that and the behaviour is still the same. Likewise, I’ve tried Chromium (Debian version of Chrome) rather than Firefox, and the behaviour is still the same.

Also, the only way of responding to your comment is via my Inbox. Responding to a comment via the thread does not work. Often I can’t see the comments (except through my Inbox, or if I log out).

Is your “Undefined” language setting enabled in addition to English? I think that’s needed too

Okay, yes, this is where the issue was. Undetermined was enabled, but English was not. Enabling both of these options has fixed it. Thanks so much!

                Awesome! Glad I could help!

                That’s a very unintuitive setting.
