I learned it the hard way by buying Shadow of the Tomb Raider after pirating and liking it, the same PC ran the legit version like shit, I bet they only have nasa PCs over there to test the DRM on.
People are voting with their wallets.
They were willing to buy it. But this effects them and made the game no longer worth it. Pirates will pirate regardless. But you just lost some of the genuine customers by effecting them, pirates will have a “better” version.
