    Why would they do that? Isn’t the whole point to keep you unarmed?

    Also, governments are responsible for the most murders in history (excluding actual wars… which are also caused by governments) so wanting to protect yourself from the state isn’t a massive leap in logic or conspiracy’s territory.

    People are responsible. Governments are just groups of people, not some monolith hell bent on global domination and mutual destruction.

    Keep waiting for the “Government” to let you protect yourself against it. I am sure “they” are getting right on that. lol

          Considering that the US has less murders per gun than Canada does, I’m not sure issue is the guns.

            It is easy to have less murders per gun when there are more guns than people.
