Really great to see bigger developers actually start to properly take note of the Steam Deck since it's selling so well. Now we have The Elder Scrolls Online from ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda Softworks getting improvements.
It’s a handheld PC so yeah, PC servers. I’m not playing it right now, but I do have a few hundred hours in it, and I can’t say I ever noticed such issues, though I mostly did PVE content. Which region are you in? I’m in Europe, so maybe it’s a regional thing.
Performance of ESO was so trash. Glad I quit.
Having played a fair bit of ESO on steam deck I have no idea what you mean. OK it’s not gonna run 120fps in 4k but it certainly ran fine.
Horrid server performance during prime time. Most notably in cyrodiil, but pve was suffering too when I finally gave up.
This was on pc, no idea what servers steam deck will connect to but probably pc.
