Just dealt with a similar thing after telling some friends about Murder Drones. My kid got me into it and I love the hell out of it. I tell friends, they watched it, then told me “eh”. :(
i have friends who tried to make me watch it but I hated it so so much I was unfortunately in the position of the person saying “don’t pause it”. I think it’s absolutely terrible

Yes, in a way. It’s an eldritch horror comedy. Plenty of weird murdery stuff in it. (That’s the whole show there in the link.)
