OTTAWA — The decision by organizers of the Pride parade in Ottawa to boycott Israeli companies is prompting a growing number of participants to pull out of the festivities, including the federal Liberal party and the U.S. embassy.
Capital Pride took a very clear, honest stance: They refuse to stand with terorism or genocide. They denounce Hamas and its attacks, they repudiate antisemitism and Islamophobia, and they call out active genocide.
If politicians have problems with that stance, maybe they should consider who they are standing with.
