I have not heard of anyone having a similar experience and I haven’t on my 6A but thanks for sharing.
My 6A worked really badly when I tried to transfer my data to it from my OnePlus 7t. The “System UI” was crashing all the time and the camera app never worked.
A full reset and manual transfer of important files from my 7t (and now the old install of my 6A) to my 6A worked well and I haven’t really had any substantial problems since and that was more than a year ago.

Have you tried factory resetting?
I am typing this comment on a Pixel 7. I have had it for nearly two years and I have never experienced these symptoms.
The only app I can think of that doesn’t load in under a second is Asphalt Legends - and that’s because the app takes a week to load on anything.
I am very satisfied with this device, and doubt I’ll be upgrading to Pixel 9. I have no reason to upgrade.
