I’ve been trying to find this video for a while with no luck, and idk what other community to ask.

The video features this yellow dancing CG blob alien thing, and the lyrics go something like:

We made AI to do the dumb stuff, so we could do the fun stuff
But now it does the fun stuff, and we became the dumb stuff

Does anyone remember it, or know where to find it?
The little singing alien thing popped up a few times on my FYP but I feel like I’m taking crazy pills because I can’t find any evidence that it ever existed.

    I found somewhere I had previously shared it, it was a toktok, but the it no longer seems to exist and I don’t even know the creator anymore because the URL just redirects to the Tiktok homepage now.

    I copied the lyrics though, and they go like:

    Made AI so we could do the fun stuff
    And it could do the dumb stuff
    But now it does the fun stuff
    And we become the dumb stuff

    Trying to see if it was reposted somewhere

      Nice! I don’t know if it’s because of your post, but I’m remembering a song now and I feel like I remember the dumb stuff and fun stuff words because they were in a song.

      I’m definitely interested if you find it and I’m still looking myself.

      Seems worth the dig.

      I literally have no social media except for Lemmy, but if you have LinkedIn or reddit, maybe you can try asking the reddit guy where he got the lines about ai doing dumb stuff so we can do fun stuff, and Jeff Foley in LinkedIn says “Automate the dumb stuff so you can do the fun stuff.”

      Maybe he knows, maybe he made it?

      It’s got to be a thing.
