    What’s changed is people’s outspokenness about their political views.

    The American Left, on average, would be considered well in the middle of the right in most of the world. This has resulted in “far left” in the US encompassing everything from global centrism to far left extremism. As such, using the term is pretty pointless without adding enough context so others know what is included.

      The problem with American Democrats is they want to fight “Fair.” Something to do with “Principles.” That’s all admirable and noble, and shit, but when your opponent is depending on that to punch you in the back of the head when you turn around, it’s extremely stupid. And they keep making the same mistake, over and over and over. Republican politicians don’t care about fairness, or morals, or ethics, or common decency. They care about winning. And they would throw their own mothers to the wolves to do it, and be proud of it if it meant victory. Kindness is weakness, cruelty is funny, and empathy and compassion is for women and pussies.

      When are they going to wake up and realize that Lucy is always, always going to yank the ball before the kick? For those of you too young to get the reference:
