Everyone’s counter goes up with each search regardless of impressions. It goes up even if you’re using an adblocker. I think the tree counter is just based on the amount of searches you did, not the amount of money you make them.

Ecosia only gets money from ads if you click on a link, so if you quickly scroll past them all the time you might as well leave uBO on.
