Looks pretty great too, and the way the two main character are drawn is pretty nice. I quite like the contrast with her older sister.
Also, her laugh is hilarious.
I also have a couple of factors more: huge (and ever growing) library, and probably having skipped quite a lot when migrating from MD.
Regardless, it’s a nice surprise indeed to find a personal mini mass release. 😊

The only one armed protagonist born with a single arm I can think of is Devin from Standard of Reincarnation, but I don’t think that’s it.

Was this in the anime? I can’t remember anything from it other than the abysmal use of CGI and Yumi’s chibi form.
About Kanon’s mom, I think she realized they are too dependent on each other. She’s being the villainess for their own sake. Pretty sure she still hasn’t realized that (Saki at least) see the other as more than a friend.
