Interesting choice of instance in that case.

Nelots@lemmy.zipto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•The time and expense of commuting is theft, if that job can be done from home.3·4 days agoI don’t think many people would complain about a 10 minute commute. My mom has a 45 minute drive to and from work each day, and works 10 hour days (4 days a week). I would go insane.
but its gone past that at this point
Maybe it shouldn’t. I doubt people would like the word feminism being used if it inherently painted women as sexist.
Yeah, I don’t think I’d put wisdom teeth in lawful good personally.
I think its a .zip thing. Unlike you I can see this particular post for some reason, but most images are currently blocked with the same error for me. Even thumbnails of news articles are blocked, not just images uploaded directly to Lemmy.
Great. Now I’m going to imagine vacuum-sealed people every time I see a mii avatar.
It should be as easy to do as enabling developer options on your android. Tap a certain thing several times in a row and it unlocks it, permanently.

Two weeks is also such a random and unimpressive statistic.

1 in ~25,000 people in San Fran get murdered vs 1 in ~7,150 people in Houston. That’s ~3.5x higher. Per capita isn’t helping much here.
What exactly is the point in covering the front of the bikes there? Some of those look dangerously close to getting caught on their tires.
To add to the other comment just to drive home how bad they are:
This chart is about human-related bird deaths.
(Also keep in mind if you just look at the lines, its even worse than it looks at a glance because the values are separated strangely. Like 10/25/50 million all being equally spaced out, and 600 being the halfway point of 0 and 2400.)

Well the whole reddit thing was just a bunch of volunteer mods. On the other hand, many YouTubers make a career out of the platform. Considering their livelihoods are at stake, and the vast number of YouTubers you would need to get on board to make google actually care? Organizing such a thing would be anything but simple.

Seriously. I feel like they made a huge mistake with that name lol.
I need to find an android app that supports piefed. I use it on my desktop and use Lemmy on my phone, and its very awkward.
