I don’t have the wake issue, but the Joycons that came with my Switch 2 are forever disconnecting. I also can’t get the console to connect to ethernet and it takes forever to connect to wifi, if it connects at all. Strangely, the Switch 1 joycons and pro controller I paired with the Switch 2 work perfectly. If there isn’t some firmware bug that they can patch out, then I’m pretty sure people like us with these disconnect issues are probably gonna have to send it in for repair.
You can’t get slow burn TV if you’re gonna claim a season is 3-6 episodes. Slow burn needs time and current TV production trends don’t allow for that.

Yeah, they’re absurdly good at optimization. You wouldn’t think their games would have such tiny file sizes for what they contain.

Edit: Damn people, I didn’t say there were NO businesses scummier. There definitely are. I just think airlines are up there and they get away with a lot. Constantly raising prices, tons of additional fees, immense government subsidies taken from our tax dollars, bizarre and nonsensical fluctuations in price designed to be confusing and exploitative. Plus they’re always crying like they’re moments away from going out of business, yet they make massive profits. There are absolutely scummier businesses, but these assholes rank high among them.

Because as a society, we decided that haircuts are more important than human lives, so rather than implementing a coherent nationwide quarantine strategy, we let each state do what what wanted and the red states fucked it all up for everyone by not doing what they should, so instead of eradicating the disease, we’ve made it endemic and now it’ll kill the most vulnerable among us forever.
EA rarely makes good use of the devs it consumes and destroys, unfortunately. This isn’t even the first racing team that I was a fan of they’ve destroyed. Hell, it’s not even the first British racing team they’ve destroyed. They’re truly a plague on the industry.
While I definitely hope the people laid off all land on their feet, having a handful of people from a large team show up at another studio doesn’t really do anything for us. We’ll never get another DriveClub or OnRush or Dirt 5 because the magic that team made has been scattered to the winds.
