Many parents wouldn’t agree with one, or either, of these statements. I imagine the fact he believes these has a big part in why he supports you, despite seemingly not supporting people like you. Some parents would turn their kids into the police; others frivolously argue a false alibi story. Some parents would disown their kids for choosing a career or partner or religion they don’t agree with; for others, that’s a bias-breaking experience. Some parents would die for their kids; others view them as labor or retirement security.

People are complicated, man.

I’ve heard people say “return of misogyny” but that doesn’t capture it. I’m hearing of elementary school boys groping their female teachers. A 4th/5th grade boy jerked off on another student. Middle schoolers are telling vice principals that they’d only listen to a man teacher. This isn’t regressive. This is a new level of hell.

As homophobic and cruel as people were before, they wouldn’t justify sexually abusing children or raping anyone. There were bad leaders, but they had practical limitations that have since been expanded with technology. The Epstein sex trafficking ring is the worst sex trafficking ring in human history. It simply wasn’t possible to do acts this awful, and if anyone was suspected of such, it would be groundbreaking. Now we have radically violent hateful propaganda being disseminated to children and adults alike; by people who push their technology on children and adults alike.

We’re heading into 2026 led by a network of increasingly fascist nations with autonomous surveillance technology in all of our homes. Of all the branches of Hell we have running this Earth, Silicon Valley is the one I hate most. Silicon Valley radicalized the youth. Silicon Valley pushed Trump in 2024. Silicon Valley is covering up the Epstein story. Silicon Valley assembled our data. Silicon Valley sunk $500 billion into making AI deepfake propaganda tools. Silicon Valley gaslit us all into secondhand-thinking with their black box mechanisms. Worst of all, Silicon Valley gave their brood of neo-Nazis surveillance technology that can give a small think tank the power of a million eternal loyalists.

Waiting for the men’s rights groups to jump on that. I’d support them.

ehh MTG always struck me as one of the Republicans that bought on hook-line-and-sinker. Most Republicans I know are just doing it for power and/or money. MTG is one that is as stupid as the Fox News-bingeing base. She was the first AFAIK to accuse the Parkland survivors of being paid actors; and she became infamous for that and the “Jewish space laser” thing. In terms of Congress, MTG was trailblazing with her crazy because it was genuine crazy.
