It doesn’t even matter if that’s true. The shooting is done, and the crazier ones will think of it as a favor.

You know how they like to milk things for years? Benghazi, Hunter’s laptop, etc? To them this killing provides another justification along those lines.

It’s incredibly short sighted, and again while I really hope I’m wrong, actual good people may suffer and die for ‘mah revenge’. Trump may even direct all media to ignore, or worse, celebrate if that happens.

We all know they just want some reason to pull a trigger, and I think it’s poor strategy to give one to them.

I can’t condone what he did, but I’m not sad about it.

What worries me is that you can’t out-hate or out-violence these Trumpers. Those are core ideals to them, along with the cheating/lying/persecution routines.

I suspect they’re thinking they don’t want to be outdone with gun violence. Hopefully there is no further bloodshed.

I think it’s reasonable to ask, but manage your expectations.

I don’t know if you have your own children, but they’re a lifelong commitment. When they need you as a parent you have to be there. Your husband knows his son’s needs and it sounds like he’s doing a great job of helping him heal. Conversely, keeping the son away could lead to feelings of hopelessness…‘if I can’t rely on dad, I have nobody’.

This may be the difference between a short term sharing of your husband’s time (though not as short as you’d like) and an ongoing situation that creeps up when you’d hoped it was long since done. If that’s too much for you, maybe you’re not right together.

All else aside, if you’re a Deputy Chief for DOJ you don’t go around blabbing about the inner workings of government to inflate your importance while trying to impress someone with whom you’ve been on 1-2 dates.

Since he’s not able to grasp this, what the hell is he doing with a high ranking DOJ job? For that matter, who goes talking about work on a date?
