When you look at early mobile games you see how much potential this platform had before it became overrun by shitty p2w mobas and junk like that. A mobile game storefront that forbids mtx and ads would be an incredible thing for indies and maybe in the future bigger companies. I would love to find good games for phone without digging hard, what do you guys think?

    I agree. F-Droid is nice for this but it would be nice if a less restrictive app store existed.

      No, it’s totally possible to mantain an independent repository for F-Droid. We don’t need another appstore.

        Agreed. The hard part would be however to attract the game developers to release for that F-Droid repository.

      Um… no? Apple Arcade is more like Game Pass, you can’t buy individual games from it. And unlike steam which is crossplatform, you can only get Apple Arcade on iOS. If you are an Android or Linux Mobile you are out of luck. All though it’s funny to see iOS as the best mobile gaming platform, while it’s desktop counterpart is considered not very good at that.
