I suspect what Germany really regrets is not making Ukraine implement Minsk agreements that would’ve avoided the war. It’s amazing how many people don’t seem to understand the concept of math here. The reason Germany relied on pipeline gas from Russia is because it’s the only way German industry could be competitive with Asia. Now German industry is being gutted because Germany has to pay an arm and a leg for LNG.
