figured it might be a good idea to have a somewhat regular check-in thread, so here’s one (and i’ll probably make one every week or other week depending on how well this goes, we’ll see). what have you folks been up to and what are you going to get up to as friday turns into (or already is) saturday
i am, to put it mildly, busy. i have a bunch of blog posts to write about this weekend so i don’t get behind and i’d estimate i’ve already written north of 3,000 words in the past 2 days, with probably another 3,000 at minimum i’ll be writing over the weekend. i’d estimate my writing currently occupies, idk, about 40 to 60 hours a week currently? mostly unpaid, obviously.

It could be a good idea to have a general Matrix chat room for just chatting. Personally, I get a bit squimish knowing that everybody can read my post history.
Wasn’t around on the weekend because it was quite busy! Went to an edm show and attended an informal memorial for someone in the polycule who died in a motorcycle accident about a month ago. Swapped cars with a partner who’s going on a trip and cleaned up around the place. Ended up losing more sleep than getting sleep on the weekend, which I think is the norm.
