    Sad but expected move from Adobe along the lines of a well known capitalist tactic. First make sure that you’ll get a monopoly on a certain market. Next when the users are depending on you squeeze out every penny of them. Like a heroin dealer is squeezing out every penny from the users. Thank goodness we have FLOSS.

      I have a photographer friend that’s into the adobe suite. Its like thousands of dollars per year at this point, because they only offer most things as monthly subscriptions. No idea why people don’t just spend the time to learn FLOSS things like GIMP.

        Also PhotoGIMP makes that transition easier

          or using krita, even though it isn’t its main focus, it still works better than GIMP for photoshop-equivalent work, even having a native photoshop keyboard shortcuts preset
