I like this. But a way more simple and inexpensive method is to fill a bucket with water, get your soap, wash and scrub with that then wash off in the shower.

Also, it’s pretty normal in plenty of places to fill a bathtub and have the entire family use the water, even keeping it for multiple days. Meanwhile the US/Canada is like “eww gross!” while a five person house over here uses literally a swimming pool’s worth of bathing water per day.

huh. Is that actually “unsanitary”, or is it just BS? I have heard some people call that ‘unsanitary’.

It’s obviously not as sanitary as taking individual showers, but I feel like in terms of your family, it’s less of a problem if you already live together and you’re related. If someone gets really filthy or sick or something else happens, they should probably take an individual shower, but I feel that general day to day sweat is of minimal problem, again, if you already live in the same house.

It costs 6,800€ and you still have to change filters. This is only feasible for people who have their own janitor. And those people, incidentally, waste so much more than that bit of water.

Unless it uses a permanent filter that can be wiped clean with a biodegradable (cotton or hemp) cloth, then they are net negative on ecology and it’s not an improvement. They’re not even moving the problem so much as creating new ones. Capitalism at it’s finest.

🤣 it has an app! So you can play music from your (only Spotify?). Instead of just presenting itself as a Bluetooth speaker with Bluetooth track/volume control buttons. No they make a custom proprietary app, that you have to control from your phone while you are showering, I guess.

    Peak stupid design.
