    Would’ve liked to hear more of the thought process behind removing the icons in the menu. I can kind of see where they’re coming from, but compared to the other changes, it feels rather arbitrary.

    And honestly, if the next redesign in two years adds the icons back and explains that with “Removed Added icons to improve scannability and usability”, then that would be just as valid of an explanation.

    I guess, it ultimately depends on the perspective. Some users process images quicker, others process text quicker. Maybe they actually did user research on this?

    The other changes seem really solid and fixed many small details that you kind of stop seeing after using Firefox for many years, but are important for new users.
