This thing spins and is water proof.

instructions

It doesn’t work very well for non socks, because the clothes don’t spin because they get stuck on the wire.

I have a plastic bucket.

I want to make a hole in the bottom/side of the bucket so clothes won’t get stuck on the wire. The wire cannot be detached from the spinny machine. So i have to cut a hole (in the bucket) big enough for a USB to fit through, then make the bucket water proof again. I’m not sure how to make it waterproof again.

A USB-powered washing machine? Not sure if amazed or terrified.

I’m not sure how to make it waterproof again.

Silicon! You can buy/steal it from any DIY store and with the matching silicon gun you’ll probably be able to make things waterproof again.

The diagram shows that it is supposed to go on the side of the bucket and to run the cable out without making a hole. I think that’s a good idea because keeping a patch water tight with clothes banging up against it is going to be challenging.

You could always put waterproof tape or silicone over the cord to keep it from catching. If it fails you have a tangled cord instead of a wet floor.
